Definite Signs that Moshiach is Very Close

The sha’ilos I’ve received  are hair-raising, shocking and sad.
The Yetzer Hara is out of control.  Yidden from every background, spanning the entire gamut, from Chassidish to Yeshivish to Modern to secular are facing unparalleled temptation. The Yetzer Hara has cast its tentacles wide and is ravaging and consuming the finest in Klal Yisroel.
What is going on? Why is this happening now?
It is mentioned in Sifrei Kabbalah that our entire generation may be a Gilgal of a past generation, such as the generation that lived at the close of the first Beis Hamikdash, which succumbed to unprecedented immoral sins. As the last generation before the rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash, it is critical for us to rectify these sins and to maintain our moral purity. The Arizal taught that if one has an uncanny desire for a particular aveirah, it is obvious that this is the sin that the person was brought to this world for tikun. He must exert himself not to cave in to the desire.
Rav Chaim Vital said that a single mitzvah performed by the smallest and most spiritually compromised person in our generation will outshine and surpass the most monumental mitzvah performed by the holiest person of previous generations.
According to the Chidushei Harim, a person from our generation who doesn’t give into temptation or capitulate to the Yetzer Hara, brings the greatest simcha to Hashem, more so than any past generation.
When Chaim, an accountant, from East 23rd street in Flatbush, does the Ratzon Hashem, despite his burgeoning Yetzer Harah, it is more powerful than Moshe Rabbeinu bringing down the Luchos.
We are not a simple generation
We seem to be a puny and often unholy people. Yet, our generation is living in the most spectacular of times. A generation, surrounded and inundated with unbridled promiscuity and licentiousness, is about to wittness miracles and wonders that our holiest ancestors only dreamt of.
Rav Chaim Kanievsky reiterated numerous times that Moshiach is already here, waiting to reveal himself. For reasons unbeknownst to us, our generation was chosen by Hashem to bring the Geulah and witness Moshiach.  It may be unfathomable and inexplicable but there is something exceedingly unique, extraordinary and holy about each and every one of us.
Stay strong! Don’t capitulate to temptation! You will bring the Geulah!
We are at the threshhold of Moshiach and are witnessing age old prophecies enfold before our very eyes. What seems to be politics, natural order or the whims and foibles of world leaders is in actuality the Yad Hashem, orchestrating and manipulating the course of history to bring the prophecies to fruition.
The following sampling of prophecies enfolding are based on sources in Navi, Gemara, Medrash, Zohar, Ramban, Rabbeinu Bechaya, Abarbanel, Arizal, Ohr HaChaim, etc.
1. There will be a resurgence and revival of Islam in the world. Islam will become the fastest growing religion.
2. The deep Sunni and Shiite split will intensify and cause violence. The Sunni nations will forge an allegiance with America.
3. Astonishingly, radical Islam will be led by non Arab countries, Iran and Turkey.
4. Iran will be the greatest threat to peace and be the leading supporter of terror.
5. Eretz Yisroel will be the nexus of a world war and be severely threatened. The people residing in Eretz Yisroel will have tremendous trepidation and palpable fear. However, with Hashem’s help, they will be saved.
6.  The great war will be a show down between Iran and America.
5. America and the Christian Right will strongly come to the defense of Israel. The Christian right will rectify the past misdeeds of their ancestors and champion the rights of the Jewish people. These Christians will ultimately realize the One G-d and be present for Moshiach.
6. The mostly Catholic European Countries (i.e. European Union) will defy America and have a confederacy with Islamists. They will support Iran and other enemies to the detriment of Israel.
7. The Christian leader of the free world will rectify the heinous sin of destroying the second Beis Hamikdash and be the Koresh of his day, restoring the glory of Yerushalayim and precipitating Moshiach’s arrival.
We are so close to the coming of Moshiach.
The Baal Shem Tov says that Moshiach will catch us by surprise. No one wants to greet Moshiach with his “hand caught stealing the cookie from the cookie jar.” We want to greet Moshiach with pure minds and clean souls.
Let’s double down and strengthen ourselves.
Stop just going through the motions.
Become FFC (Frum From Choice) and not Frum From Birth (FFB).
Get a Rebbi who loves you.
Feel connected to Hashem. Daven in a shul that gives you inspiration.
Connect to the Divine. Learn Torah. Finish as many Mesechtos as possible.
Involve yourself in Chesed and Kiruv.
Be there for others who are struggling.
Make sure to have all internet filtered in your home and office.
We are the greatest generation to ever live!
May everyone achieve their Tikun and may we be zoche to see the glorious days of Moshiach, B’Karov Mamash!

  1. Beautiful article. Another sign that I see here is that almost the exact words that the Lubavitcher Rebbe ZY”A said some 26 years ago, which at the time much of the Frume Velt derided, are now being said in the name of Rav Chaim Kanievsky and by the author himself.

We are told the in the time right before Moshiach comes “חוצפה יסגא” indeed we see the right before our eyes. A segula for bringing Moshiach is “כל האומר דבר בשם אומרות מביא גאולה לעולם”.

May we be Zoche Bekorov Mamosh!

  2. Life in galus is tough. We try to stay strong but so many things pull us down. We need mashpiim and rebbeim like R’ Fingerer more than ever to pull us up and ensure that we never forget that Hashem loves us and there is what to hope for and look forward to.

  3. Rabbi Fingerer is an outreach rabbi, so he deals mostly with the younger generation. This kind of talk may impress them, because they haven’t heard anything like it before.

But I’m a bit older, old enough to recall when the same claims were made about the conflict between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Islam wasn’t much of a world force back then. Today, the Soviet Union no longer exists, but the Moshiach still hasn’t come. The same fate may lie in store for Rabbi Fingerer’s predictions.

  4. The following sampling of prophecies enfolding are based on sources in Navi, Gemara, Medrash, Zohar, Ramban, Rabbeinu Bechaya, Abarbanel, Arizal, Ohr HaChaim, etc.

How any of them said anything about America and Islam if the US didn’t exist when they were niftar?

While there is no question we are in Ikvasa D’Mishacha, Rav Elchonon Wasserman writes to that to say as a definitive fact that Mosiach will come very soon is wrong because no one knows how long the Ikvasa D’Mishacha will last

    • Here’s the Zohar, draw your own conclusions

      Zohar, Parashas Va’era 32a

“Abraham said to the L-rd, ‘Would that Ishmael live before You’” [Genesis 17:18]

Rabbi Chiyya sighed and cried. He opened and said: “Sarah was barren, she had no child” [Genesis 11:30] Woe unto this! Woe unto that time that Hagar gave birth to Ishmael! Said Rabbi Josi to him: Why? Did not Sarah give birth after that, and had the holy seed? Said he to him: You see, but you do not see. So have I heard from the mouth of Rabbi Shimon [bar Yochhai – the compiler of the Zohar] about this matter, and because of it do I cry. Woe unto that time! For because Sarah was delayed in childbirth does it say, “Sarah said to Abram ‘…come unto my maidservant…’” [Genesis 16:2]. Because of this, the time was ripe for Hagar to inherit Sarah her mistress, and she had a son by Abraham, and Abraham said “would that Ishmael live before You”. Even though G-d informed him regarding Isaac, Abraham cleaved to Ishmael, until G-d told him, “regarding Ishmael, I have heard you.” [Genesis 17:20]. Afterwards, he [Ishmael] was circumcised and entered into the Holy covenant before Isaac entered the world. Come and see: for 400 years did that Representing Angel of the children of Ishmael stand and plead before G-d. Said he to Him: “Does one who is circumcised have a portion in Your Name?” Said He: “Yes.” Said he: “Behold Ishamel, who is circumcised, why does he not have a portion in You as does Isaac?” Said He: “Isaac is circumcised properly according to the decree; but this one is not so [Isaac was circumcised on his eighth day, and with priya (proper removal of the foreskin); Ishmael was circumcised at 13 years, and after the incision was made, he jumped and refused to allow his foreskin to be removed – Ziv haZohar]. Furthermore, these [the children of Isaac] cleave to Me properly at eight days, while these [the children of Ishmael] distance themselves from Me for many years.” Said he to Him: “Nevertheless, since he is circumcised, shouldn’t he have a good reward for this?” What did G-d do? He removed the children of Ishmael from closeness to the Above, and gave them a portion below in the Holy Land, for the sake of the circumcision which was in them.

The children of Ishmael are destined to rule over the Holy Land when it is desolate of all for a very long time, just as their circumcision is desolate, without perfection. They will prevent the children of Israel from returning to their place. This will continue until that merit of the children of Ishmael is consumed.

The children of Ishmael are destined to stimulate a great world war. The children of Eisav will gather against them and engage them in war. One by sea. One by land. And one near Jerusalem. One will rule over the other, but the Holy Land will not be given over to the children of Eisav.

At that time a nation from the end of the earth will arise against the evil Rome, and will engage it in war for three months. There, nations will gather, and fall into their hands, until all the children of Edom will gather from all the ends of the earth. Then will G-d arise against them, as it says: “a great slaughter for G-d in Bosra…” [Isaiah 34:6] And what does it say following? “to seize the wings of the earth…” [Job 38:13].
Ishmael will be excised by this. All of their ministers Above will be broken. Not one Representative Angel of the nations of the world will be left Above, save the Representative Angel of Israel [Michael] alone. Regarding that time is it written: “for then will I overturn on the nations one clear language so that they may all call out in the Name of G-d to serve Him in unity” [Zephania 3:9] And it is written “on that day G-d will be One, and His Name will be One” [Zechariah 14:9]

Blessed is G-d forever, Amen and Amen. [Psalms 89:53]

      • Better to quote Midrashay ha-Zohar than Soncino, which botches or omits too much (they’re Yinglish!). Better still, not to indiscriminately broadcast these things, as the Shepsels and Latter Day Hasidim, which was condemned by our outstanding Gdolim (GR’A, Ya’abetz, etc..)

  5. I pity the people deriding Rabbi Fingerer…Germany is called Germamia in Shas yet everyone knows which Amalek is being referred to and who the Seat of Rome was formed by …so saying there was no America mentioned is simply ignorant…..Complaining that Moshiach hasn’t come yet …is also ignorant ….both are what I call the “Golus Mindset”are apparent rather than scold you however I’ll hope instead that you have the same merit as the son’s of Korach…to do Teshuvah despite your “age “and lack of understanding of The sources cited …I don’t doubt now that there were Golus mindset people at the first Geula complaining about how the water divided the tribes…or how slow Moshe was walking….look at the horses behind us and the real reason why everyone didn’t jump into the water …why was Nachshon even mentioned? Why was there even a chance for him to show Gadlus?.
Because Hashem gave everyone except the deniers who represented those too entrenched in Golus to want to leave or even recognize the geulah was impending (Pharoah said that was only due to Global warming ) so I’m not surprised …to see it again…
I only urge you to apply the same cynicism to your yatzer hora when it comes after you ….to make those “ignorant “comments.
Ignoring the facts to present mislaid fears ….

  6. A reply to Sender and anyone else having taanos on this great shtickel Toirah,

Sure there were predictions made before about the Soviet Union and US, etc. But as the Rabbi said, no less than the Sar HaToirah, Rabban shel Yisroel, Maran Harav HaGaon Chaim Kanievsky said that Moshiach is already here. I myself personally hear him say it!!!! And the all the other prophecies about Islam and Christianity never, ever transpired until now!!!! The Rabbi never said in the Guf of the article that this is definite. That’s the title. Titles always are more colorful. He said that this is what we see “enfolding.”

    • You must have heard wrong…

Mosiach certainly didn’t come yet. Only the Xtians believe that.

If RCK really said such a thing then he meant it in the context of the Gemorah about Mosiach (then) sitting at the gates of the city.

  7. He’s right. Just look what’s going on around you. The Crusaders are marching through Europe and doing terrible pogroms, The Spanish inquisition is doing Chevlei Moshiach. Moshiach is coming right now.

  8. Let Rabbi Fingerer go ASAP with his Chasidim to 770 and the Ayhel of the Rebbe and be mekabel malchus of the Rebbe.

    Yechi……

  9. This is a beautiful piece of Chizuk. It IS up to us to bring Moshiach. As Eilyahu Hanavi said “Hayom im bekolo tishmuhu”. We all know that when the Torah refers to “hayom” it is referring to Rosh Hashana (“Asher yeomar hayom behar Hashem yerueh” that we lein in the “Akeido” on R”H (see Rashi), and the Sfas Emes z”l says that’s why we say “Hayom te’amtzeinu etc).
We are in Elul and R”H is almost here.
    So it’s up to us.
We don’t need Rav Chaim shlit”a to tell us that Moshiach is here – He has been here for a long time – just waiting for us to make the move.
Let’s start by joining the “Don’t Talk in Shul” movement (especially now for Parshas Shoftim). Let’s give the RBS”O the respect He deserves – then we will iy”H get what we truly deserve.
    Ksiva vChasima Tovah to all

  10. My wife and I both read this with great enthusaism and joy. We are livid to see that some katnei emunah are being sarcastic and cynical about such a critical matter. Rav Fingerer is a known tzaddik who has brought so many ffbs and frei back. If he felt compelled to share this at this time, he must have profound reasoning. I ask all the detractors, when oh when, in recent history has Iran displayed what it is perpertatring now. If Chazal say that Iran’s conduct is a signpost for Moshiach then it proves this is Emes beyond a shadow of a doubt. Nevertheless, we still may not be zoche to it, depending on our behavior as a Jewish nation. And stop with your silly pseudonyms people
Have the guts to sign your real name!

  11. to “wakeup”, your comments are not helpful…please have respect for a huge tzadik who was beyond anything you can ever understand, as well as respect for the author of the article who desires the coming of the moshiach……

  12. “Rav Chaim Vital said that a single mitzvah performed by the smallest and most spiritually compromised person in our generation will outshine and surpass the most monumental mitzvah performed by the holiest person of previous generations.”

    1) Huh??!!! I want to see the exact quote.

    2) Even if RCV said that, great gedolim would disagree.

“When Chaim, an accountant, from East 23rd street in Flatbush, does the Ratzon Hashem, despite his burgeoning Yetzer Harah, it is more powerful than Moshe Rabbeinu bringing down the Luchos.”

    Whoa, hold it right there.

I think gedolim would not agree to that.

“Rav Chaim Kanievsky reiterated numerous times that Moshiach is already here, waiting to reveal himself.”

Did he mean it literally? What did it mean exactly?

“The Baal Shem Tov says that Moshiach will catch us by surprise. No one wants to greet Moshiach with his “hand caught stealing the cookie from the cookie jar.” We want to greet Moshiach with pure minds and clean souls.”

The gemara says that Moshiach will come בהיסך הדעת. Let us discuss early accepted sources such as חז”ל.

  13. What you said sounds nice, but I wonder if perhaps you are accidentally misinterpertting some of the sources.

Rather than just giving general references, such as “Navi,” can you please give exact source and also exact wording? Does the source say explicitly that the two enemies will be Turkey and Iran, or do they say something that you personally interpret that way but with which someone else may argue? I would like to exact reference for each claim made, as well as exact wording of a speech or written document you reference.

  14. Rabban Yochanan Ben Zakkai
“If you should happen to be holding a sapling in your hand when they tell you that the Messiah has arrived, first plant the sapling and then go out and greet the Messiah.”

  15. Where are the sources to back up these claims. I am not doubting any of them but when you say that the sifrei Kabbalah claim “America and the Christian Right will strongly come to the defense of Israel.” which is something that did not even exist until recently than you need to show the sources to be credible
