Israeli Finance Minister Aryeh Deri has arranged a $280,000 loan to build one thousand new classrooms in Yerushalayim.
The city currently lacks 4,092 classrooms for 100,000 students, 366 for the general public, 2,054 for Arabs and 1,672 for the chareidi sector, and wastes $40,000 annually renting often substandard classrooms.
