Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is vying for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, strongly criticized the treatment of Israel by the Biden administration.
DeSantis responded to outgoing US Ambassador to Israel, Thomas Nides, who stated in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that the Biden administration is seeking to prevent Israel from making significant changes to its judicial system. Nides remarked, “I think most Israelis want the United States to be in their business. With that sometimes comes a modicum of a price, which is articulating when we think things are going off the rails.”
DeSantis tweeted in response, “How disrespectful for the US Ambassador to Israel to falsely claim ‘most Israelis want the United States to be in their business.’” “Biden meets with dictators of countries such as Venezuela but snubs the democratically elected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This is not how you should treat an ally,” added the Florida Governor.
Nides’ comments align with a series of criticisms by top US officials regarding Israel’s judicial reform. In March, President Biden voiced grave concerns about the direction Israel was taking with its judicial reform, emphasizing that they cannot continue down that path. Biden also announced that he would not be extending an invitation to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit the White House in the near future.
Netanyahu responded to Biden’s remarks by emphasizing the unbreakable alliance between Israel and the United States, noting that occasional disagreements should not undermine their relationship. He stressed that Israel, as a sovereign nation, makes decisions based on the will of its people, rather than succumbing to external pressures, even from their closest friends.

that’s what his notes said to do………………….
What are these rails that Biden says Israel is going off. The last time we had Jews in trains, the whole world was off the rails.
By the way, Biden is dunking Jewish blood into fools gold. He can not list Israel as its own building ally.
