Numerous burglaries were reported in Ramat Eshkol neighborhood in recent weeks, especially during Shabbos. Last week a 70-year-old man was threatened by masked criminals with a crowbar while walking to synagogue at dawn.
Israel Community Watch’s Eli Weiss requested the Israel Dog Unit patrol the neighborhood this Shabbat. Ten Israel Dog Unit (IDU) volunteers were quartered in the neighborhood with 6 dogs and patrolled the neighborhood Friday night and Shabbos day.
No burglaries were reported this Shabbos in Ramat Eshkol. Israel Community Watch urges anyone affected by the crimes there to file a police report and notify ICW at 051-516-6723.
