Police arrested dozens of Arab and Jewish demonstrators in Jerusalem clashes Thursday night, with dozens also injured in clashes.
Several hundred Jewish protesters organized by Lahava, a far-right organization, clashed with Arab protesters around the old city, near the Damascus Gate. Police used tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the crowds.
Arab protesters also clashed with police after throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails, with police arresting 78, according to Palestinian sources. At least a hundred were injured, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. At least one police officer reportedly suffered a head injury from a rock thrown at him.
