Dr. Seuss has hit Amazon’s best-sellers list just two days after it was announced that six of his books would be pulled for racist and offensive imagery. As of Thursday, nine of Dr. Seuss’ books occupied the top 10 best-sellers list and sales are soaring, despite the author being a target of cancel culture. None of the six books being discontinued made it onto the list but second-hand copies of those titles continue to sell at a much higher price, Forbes noted. And some of the discontinued books sold out on Barnes & Nobles’ website.
The books to be discontinued are: “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!,” and “The Cat’s Quizzer,” Insider reported.
“These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” Dr. Seuss Enterprises said in a statement. “Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families.”

Hypercorrection and the sanctimoniousness of the newly sensitive will have the exact same consequences as Prohibition and end just as badly.
America clearly disagrees with the woke nuttos.
We want ’em banned and that’s no joke
We’re loud, we’re proud, we’re oh-so-woke
Seuss-o-philes, quit your borching
These bad, bad books we’ll soon be torching
We’re resolute in our gesheft
To ban all books till none are left
Don’t read Seuss books in our parks
Study Lenin, study Marx
Ignore the Seuss fans, they don’t matter
Serve his head up on a platter
Burning books is so much fun
