A plane had to make an emergency landing this morning after a member of the flight returning from Uman to Eretz Yisroel suffered a heart attack. The 767 Euro Swift, with 228 passengers on board, took off from the local airport in Ukraine, but shortly afterwards had to make the emergency landing.
The in-flight staff asked if there were any doctors on board to treat the avreich who suffered the attack. CPR was performed and the pilot decided to make an immediate emergency landing at the airport closest to his location.
The pilot informed the control tower at the airport in Ukraine, and an ambulance was summoned to the airport and was waiting for the avreich as the plane landed.
An operation was performed on the avreich at a local hospital, while the plane was still detained at the airport.
