Egypt Calls for UN Coalition vs. ISIS

On the heels of bombing Islamic State targets in Libya, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called on the United Nations to mandate a resolution to provide assistance to Libya.

“There is no other choice, taking into account the agreement of the Libyan people and government and that they call on us to act,” Sisi said during an interview with French radio station Europe 1 on Tuesday.

Local media reported that at least 35 more Egyptians were kidnapped Monday morning, following the airstrikes by Egyptian warplanes on ISIS camps in Libya in retaliation for the beheadings of 21 Coptic Christians. Read more.

  1. The UN/PLO is in a quandary. They ARE getting nervous about ISIS but cant criticize them because after all they are Muslims. What they need to do, is get ISIS to after the evil white “westerners” because that’s where the real battle lies.
