Members of the bais din of Eidah Hachareidis in Yerushalayim issued a letter of protest against the Charish municipality and its mayor, Yitzchok Keshet, following a break-in at the Toldos Aharon shul in the city and harassment of the city’s chareidi residents.
The letter mentions the storm surrounding the attack on the rov of the community, Rav Yosef Shmuel Valis.
“We are protesting with a great protest and a cry for the desecration of the holy…and it is on G-d-fearing people to raise a great protest against the desecration and disgrace of the shul,” the rabbonim wrote.
