Israeli airline El Al said in a statement released on Saturday that all of its staff have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
El Al is now the first airline in the world to have vaccinated all of its employees, including pilots, flight crews, security guards, and ground agents.
In a statement, El Al’s local competitor Israir said 95% of its pilots received the first dose of the vaccine.
The company Arkia Israel Airlines, for its part, announced that about 70% of its employees had been vaccinated against Covid-19.
