The Israel Consumer Council (ICC) filed a class-action lawsuit against El Al airlines for approximately $40 million. ICC charged the national airline with illegally demanding fees from thousands of passengers who cancelled or altered their tickets before July 29, 2013, Channel 2 reported.

At the time, the collection of such fees was illegal unless confirmed in advance and in writing.

  1. Not to pile on here but they’re planes are 40 yrs old they still show the same dumb information on the screens they’ve been showing in the 1980’s

  2. Well with those other comments one thing EL AL gets you into Israel in one piece. No one is dragged from the plane, food is kosher, and those little black boxes every 6am keeps the planes running. No trip or plane is perfect but with EL AL you do come into Israel in one piece and maybe with less hate.
