The elderly man who was violently shoved to the ground by Buffalo police on Thursday night is in a “serious condition” but is expected to recover, according to the top Erie County executive. Graphic footage of the incident showed the unidentified man, 75, being shunted to the sidewalk by cops in riot gear and then lying motionless as blood appears to gush from his right ear. Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood ordered the immediate suspension of the two officers involved.

In an update on the man’s condition, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz wrote: “I’ve confirmed the 75 year old man injured tonight is in serious but stable condition…. While it is early, thankfully he is expected to recover. Simply put, the officers must be held responsible for their actions, not just fired.” Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said he was “deeply disturbed” by the video and confirmed that the two officers involved have been suspended without pay. • Normal people do not want to become cops. I think even if someone is stable when they enrol, they will become like that after a few years.
We need Moshiach and in most countries we also need to stay away from the police.

  1. Lets get real,
At first i was horrified. Then i noticed something interesting, one of the cops who pushed him makes a funny move as he passes, i slowed the clip down to .25 speed and watched again. conclusion? The cop should NOT be suspended.
    explanation
The cops are clearly marching down to clear the path, all citizens should be heading the opposite way. This is not an argument. This is what you must do. A man comes toward them, disobeying directives, they will not argue. He gets shoved.
Now, there was a large miscalculation, i believe the officers DID NOT THINK that that would happen. But you dont break ranks for that, there are medics who are on hand to care for this.
SO IF YOU NOTICED, THE COP ACTUALLY STOPPED TO TRY AND HELP, HIS COMMANDER PUSHED HIM ONWARD WHILE CALLING FOR HELP!!! this is clearly visible if you watch it slowly.
Does that mean the cop was right? no, it should have been dealt with defferently. But when a person is making split second decisions, they dont notice that he is a frail older man

    • Not even in the Popular Republic of China which is authoritarian but everyone has RESPECT for elders.
      Maybe in North Korea?

      • No, not in NYC. There was an elderly 84 year old Asian man who was severely beaten by NY’s finest because he committed the horrific crime of jaywalking. Yes, true story. It happened a couple of years ago.

    • I don’t care. The elderly man was ASSAULTED by the police. What part of ASSAULT don’t you understand? The elderly man was not attacking and was no threat to police.

  2. The 75-year old begged for trouble. Demonstrators were warned to stay out of the way. The old man differed and paid the price. He was the wrong person in the wrong spot.
