Tech mogul Elon Musk has reposted a video of Donald Trump blowing up President Joe Biden just days after an assassination attempt on the former president and Republicans bashing Democrats for what they characterized as violent rhetoric.
“Best AI video to date,” exclaimed Musk, who is now contributing $45 million monthly to a superpac supporting Trump’s campaign. (“We have to be nice to him now,” Trump remarked at a rally on Saturday.)
The cartoon video posted by @Cyncratic is a parody of the climactic fight scene from the 1999 sci-fi film “The Matrix,” starring Keanu Reeves as Neo, where humans are unknowingly enslaved by aliens through a sophisticated computer system that controls their minds.
In the video, Trump replaces Neo, effortlessly battling Biden, who is portrayed as the main alien agent, Agent Smith. Other “agents,” including Barack Obama and Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg, are shown watching the confrontation.
The video concludes with Trump causing Biden to explode into pieces. You can watch the video here. HNGN is not sharing it due to its violent portrayal of the president.
Critics expressed their outrage.
“Why are you showing videos of Donald Trump murdering Joe Biden?” one person asked on X.
Another individual reported Musk’s post to his own company, citing it as a violation of X’s policies against depicting murder and death.
