Tonight, the iconic Empire State Building will radiate its renowned tower lights, showcasing a combination of red, black, and green hues as a tribute to the recently-instituted Juneteenth holiday.

Following a weekend filled with numerous events commemorating Juneteenth, the building will be adorned with these colors throughout Monday night.

Additionally, Governor Kathy Hochul has revealed that several other notable landmarks across the city will also be illuminated to honor this significant day. These landmarks include One World Trade Center, the Kosciuszko Bridge, the Moynihan Train Hall, and the LIRR East End Gateway at Penn Station.

  1. Aren’t all holidays made up at some point or another?
I believe the sentiment you are looking for is “minor” not “Made up”.
This holiday was celebrated on a small scale since the original event, it was only nationalized because the Donald went there on the anniversary of the event, and his political opposition wanted to make him look bad for ignoring it.

    • All goyish holidays are made up.

If not, it’s because they’re corrupted versions of holidays that can be traced back to us or even Adam Ha-Rishon.

  2. Don’t understand the color combination and it’s relation to this new holiday
I thought that black would be the correct color

  3. Hmmmm. Red, black, and green, like the colors of the Palestinian flag and several other Muslim Arab countries…

Well, Happy Juneteenth to you. Next holiday coming up will be “Julyth”, celebrated on July fourth. I mean, why use a sensible name with actual meaning if you can use an ambiguous one that commemorates illiteracy, bad grammar, and zero language skills
