Evergreen Kosher Supermarket will take over the lease of The Stop & Shop supermarket in the Pacesetter Park Shopping Center in Ramapo sometime in 2021, expanding to a second store in Rockland County.
Evergreen, which has locations in Monsey and Lakewood, New Jersey, has signed a lease for 2021 to take over the space now occupied by Stop & Shop supermarket in the Pacesetter Park Shopping Center in Ramapo. The principals of Evergreen also are partners in the shopping plaza itself, which was formerly owned by Acadia Realty Trust.
When complete, the 50,000-square-foot store off Route 202 near Ramapo’s border with the Village of Pomona and Town of Haverstraw is expected to bring some 200 jobs to the shopping plaza. The existing supermarket’s interior and exterior will be redone to accommodate Evergreen’s grocery, butcher, bakery, health food, fish, produce, sushi, full service deli and prepared foods.

Nice. If coming from/to the Catskills you can take the Palisades and get off at exit 13 and be there in 2-3 minutes from the highway. A lot better then going to there current location where you get hit with a lot of local Monsey traffic plus it takes a lot longer from the highway.
I guess it will be just a matter of time until Pomona starts to look like Monsey
