A Palestinian gunman killed in an IDF drone strike this evening in the West Bank city of Qabatiya has been identified by Palestinian media as Abd Issam Alawneh.
Alawneh had previously been detained by Israeli forces, but was released as part of the November 2023 ceasefire deal involving hostages and Hamas.
He is the fourth terrorist released in that November 2023 agreement to have been killed by Israeli forces.
In a separate incident, a drone strike in Jenin this evening resulted in the deaths of three more Palestinians, according to media reports.
