A former Republican congressman who served for nearly two decades in the House slammed President Trump on Friday as an “illegitimate president” and called for his impeachment.
“I’m calling for impeachment now because the Mueller report is out, and in it [special counsel Robert Mueller] describes 10 obstructions of justice charges that he could not bring because of a Department of Justice rule and regulation that says you can’t indict a sitting president. That’s number one,” former Rep. Tom Coleman (R-Mo.) told CNN’s Erin Burnett.
The longtime GOP lawmaker, who left the House in 1993, said his other reason for calling for the president to be removed was because Trump “welcomed help and influence” from Russians during his campaign.
“It’s wrong, and it needs to be handled and looked at by the Congress because I believe it’s an impeachable offense,” Coleman concluded.

(Tea Party PAC) – Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said this week that Trump’s claim that former Secretary of State John Kerry violated the Logan Act is “true.”
“It’s true. I mean I was there in Munich when I saw not only Kerry … the whole gang that crafted that terrible deal…they were there, they met with the Iranian leadership,” Pompeo explained during a Thursday appearance on “Fox and Friends.”
“It’s unusual, but more importantly, it’s wrong,” said Pompeo.
Earlier this month, President Trump called for Kerry to be prosecuted for violating the Logan Act.
The Logan Act, 1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, makes it a crime for any unauthorized person to negotiate with any government having a dispute with the United States.
The Purpose of the Act is to prevent someone like Kerry from undermining the position of current elected officials.
“John Kerry violated the Logan Act,” Trump said. “He’s talking to Iran and has been, has many meetings and many phone calls and he’s telling them what to do. That is a total violation of the Logan act.”
Last May, the Boston Globe reported that Kerry had been traveling to Iran secretly to try to salvage what he could of former President Obama’s awful Iran deal.
He also reportedly met with French President Emmanuel Macron in both Paris and New York City.
And yes, in case you were wondering, this is illegal, highly inappropriate, and highly unusual for a former Secretary of State.

On May 8th, 2018, President Trump announced that he was set to withdraw from Obama’s Iran deal, calling it one of the worst deals he’d ever witnessed.
Prior to this announcement, however, Kerry, who was the architect of the deal, worked behind the scenes on a “stealthy yet aggressive mission” of shadow diplomacy, trying to preserve the deal in meetings with the Iranian official Javad Zarif.
Former Obama administration officials continue to try to undermine the President’s authority on the world stage.
Kerry met with Iranian officials in Paris, Obama has met with Germany on more than one occasion to hold talks with Chancellor Merkel, and Hillary Clinton traveled to Puerto Rico on January to meet with the governor of San Juan to help rebuild infrastructure after a hurricane ravaged the island.
These are not the jobs of former officials, this is why we have the Logan Act!

Those who want President Trump’s impeachment know that they are on the Declassification List for criminal activities and fear being arrested. 2.5 years of Mueller’s investigation was NOT about Trump’s collusion but was about criminals in the government.
Trump is illegitimate because he was the people’s choice and wasn’t INSTALLED via fraud as President like Obama, the Bushes and Clinton by the Criminal CIA and FBI organizations and GOP “Lawmakers”.
