When did all this happen?
CS: Just 2 weeks ago we were shocked when my husband, who’s never gone against the law, was arrested in Europe, and put in a prison full of anti-semitic criminals. We soon found out that someone had stolen his identity and evaded tax in his name.
Tell me, how are you all doing at home?
CS: Honestly, we’re not managing at all. I’m not in a good state, and my 4 kids are terrified at the thought of years without a father.
Tell me more about your husband.
CS: He’s the type that doesn’t harm a fly. He took it upon himself to support and feed my mother-in-law, and I’m worried about her. He also has a weak heart, and I’m truly afraid he won’t survive a prison sentence.
Lawyers advised that your husband can be released easily.
CS: They can release him easily, but it will cost us $200,000. I would sell my home if I had one, but we sold it a few years back to pay for my husband’s medical treatment. We’re stuck in an impossible situation.
And I understand you have a campaign running
CS: We can’t pay for it ourselves, so we turned to the public to raise the urgently needed funds. I’m begging everyone who can to donate. It’s a relatively simple case if we have the funds, but if not, he’ll face a full sentence, which I’m terrified he won’t survive.

You chose not to publicize your names.
CS: Yes, my husband did nothing wrong. IY”H, if we raise money for his release, this whole thing can be behind us. People know obviously, but I didn’t want more publicity than necessary.
