Wind , Ice, ans snow on the runway was quite dangerous ( Obvious).
The equivalent to the FAA in Canada is “Transport Canada.” One could possibly blame the condition of the runway on Transport Canada, and the The Airport Management, Toronto Pearson.
If some wind can cause the wings to fall off and the fuselage to flip over (ever heard of such a thing??), how in the world were aluminum planes able to penetrate steel and brick buildings with the wings intact? Makes no sense. You can’t have it both ways. (Let’s not forget that at first they showed the airplane penetrating the building completely in one side and out the other. It went right through the other tower of the World Trade Center. I still remember that picture. But they removed this part when the public questioned it.)
