A 40-year-old man was killed in a construction accident in Ra’anana on Thursday.
The incident took place on Kazan Street.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMT and chapter head for Herzliya/Ra’anana Roni Sela, one of the first responders at the scene, reported: “A man fell off of scaffolding at a construction site. He was unconscious and unresponsive when I arrived. Together with other volunteer first responders from United Hatzalah, I began performing CPR on the man in an attempt to resuscitate him. When the mobile intensive care ambulance arrived they joined our efforts but, unfortunately, they had to eventually pronounce the man dead at the scene.
