Simcha Goldin, whose son Second Lieutenant Hadar Goldin was killed in Gaza and captured by Hamas, visited Rav Chaim Kanievsky at his home on Rechov Rashbam in Bnei Brak.
Rav Chaim offered divrei chizuk to Mr. Goldin, wishing him that his son’s memory be for a blessing and his family experience only brocha and hatzlocha going forward.
Hadar’s body has been held by Hamas since the 2014 Gaza war.
Simcha and his wife, Leah, have lobbied for Israel to do all it can to get back their son’s remains so that he can be brought to proper kever Yisroel.
