A four-alarm fire that broke out early Shabbos morning at a two-family, three-story house on Taylor Court in Kiryas Yoel had firefighters from eight companies on the scene for about five hours, The Time Herald-Record reports. Kiryas Yoel public safety officials said three people were in the large, wood-and-brick house when the fire was reported at about 5 a.m.
The officials said all three escaped safely on their own, and no injuries were reported. The blaze left the house with heavy fire damage to the third floor and extensive water damage to the first and second floors, the public safety officials said.
About 40 firefighters responded, and they were on the scene until about 10 a.m. Read more at The Time Herald-Record.
