The brand new Bnos Devorah Raizel elementary girls school, currently under construction on Laurel Park Road, in South Fallsburg, NY, was destroyed by a fire this morning.
The building was almost completed, and a chanukas habayis had been planned in the near future.
The few hundred students of the school have been located in temporary trailers.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

the way that building burnt to a crisp in such a short time, it’s a Chesed that it didn’t happen when the kids were already in there.
very very sad…. they mustve spent years gathering money for this. It’s a pashut community. I really hope people come and help rebuild it.
