The first-ever commercial flight from Israel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will take off next week, the United States announced Tuesday.
Israeli and American representatives will travel Monday via an El Al Airlines aircraft, in a direct flight from Ben-Gurion International Airport to Abu Dhabi.
Israel’s National Security Adviser Meir Ben Shabbat will lead the delegation in talks to formalize the peace treaty with UAE, outlet Ynet reported.
US National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien will head the American delegation alongside Senior Advisor and US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Special Representative for International Negotiations Avi Berkowitz will also participate in the round of talks.
