Barbara Bush, the matriarch of a Republican political dynasty and a first lady who elevated the cause of literacy, died Tuesday, a family spokesman said. She was 92.
In 2001, when George W. Bush took office, Barbara Bush became the only woman in American history to live to see her husband and son elected president.
Bush is survived by her husband, George H.W.; sons George W., Neil, Marvin and Jeb; daughter, Dorothy Bush Koch; and 17 grandchildren. Read more at CNN.

B’DE.
She is a nice memory overall. MODEST DRESS. Where was that with M. Obama?
Worked on illiteracy. WE NEED. Michelle O.? Childhood obesity. Important but I would have people understand a written word more than I wonder who can fit on the 747.
Still, nice life and a premeir family.
Growth of American eras. She dressed well. The only best way to remember a good first lady. New eyes never see wrong.
Classy lady. Not too many people have one president for a husband and another as a son. RIP Mrs. Bush.
Another RINO Bush snake bit the dust. Are we supposed to be sad?
