niv-asraf12:29 P.M. IL, First Report: Missing 22-year-old Niv Asraf from Be’er Sheva has been found alive by Israeli forces after about ten hours of searching.

Apparently, Niv wasn’t truly missing. His friend admitted filing a false report. Niv was found in Kiryat Arba.

The IDF, the Shin Bet and the Israel Police had been searching for Niv, who was presumed missing in the West Bank near Chevron.

The case was initially treated as a kidnapping, but it later emerged that the circumstances were linked to criminal activity.

Niv reportedly entered the village of Beit Anun and did not come out again. A friend of Niv called the police at 4:17 p.m. and said that they had a flat tire between Kiryat Arba and Beit Anun. He told the police that Niv had entered the village to get tools to change the tire but never returned.

However, police said that the vehicle had no flat tire and that Niv didn’t go into Beit Anun to get tools. This led security forces said that the incident was related to criminal activity.

The car was parked just outside Kiryat Arba, on a road frequented by Israelis, so it wasn’t clear why Niv would have decided to enter the Palestinian village, as the friend had claimed.

More details to come.

  1. Please remove the picture of that RASHA! Do you know how many other lives this lowlife put in danger?! And people were “told” to “Daven” for him?! This piece of dreck should be thrown in prison the key thrown into the sea!

  2. Shameful act!
The friend ought face serious charges – perhaps one for each soldier whose life may have been endangered by conducting the search. He put many lives in danger with his prank. Niv, perhaps, is likely equally culpable.
