The two Lev Tahor children who were abducted from their mother a few weeks ago have been successfully recovered in Mexico and are in the custody of child services.

Fourteen-year-old Yante Teller and her 12-year old brother Chaim Teller are in good condition after being taken in a car on Shabbos by members of the Lev Tahor cult. The FBI, Interpol, the US State Department and Mexican Police were all involved in the children’s rescue. The two are expected to be reunited with their mother in the United States some time next week.

Aron Rosner of Williamsburg remains in custody in New York for allegedly orchestrating the kidnapping. Five other members of the group have been taken into custody in Mexico where prosecutors are working on their extradition to United States.

According to an indictment unsealed earlier this week, Rosner kidnapped the children from their family in Woodridge, NY, and disguised them before taking them to an airport Pennsylvania where they boarded a flight to Mexico.

  1. I am being Dan Lkaf Zchus that 5:45 am today was a mistake and you meant PM, but even 5:45 PM is very close to the zman. How did you manage to Daven Maariv, make Havdalah, read and verify a news report and write it up so close to the zman?

Yes, that is most likely how it works out time wise. Matzav must have people working for them in
Israel, which of course is seven hours ahead of the United States. There is no need for Matzav to
confirm that fact. On the contrary, let them keep it a secret, but let us, those who send in replies,
identify ourselves, and not hide behind “anonymous” or “initials. In all my years of writing in to
Frum Jewish publications I always sign off in full, Josh Darabaner. Hatzlachah Rabbah to Matzav.

    • Josh,
you want to provide your address also. and when somebody demands your bank statement. do you want to give that. if it makes you feel good to post your name good for you. but nobody is obligated! are you telling me pen names never existed in history?

  3. This whole Lev Tomei story is very troubling. It is clearly a cult, and like all cults, it never ends well. The poor innocent victims are scarred for life.

  4. Not the poster, but the article itself. But what’s the issue?

    What’s the problem?

  6. “2) The mother is as much Levin Tahor as the father.”

How so? She escaped. She wants out, and realizes it is in her children’s best interest – mentally, physically, and emotionally – to be out of there. Are the poor, abused Jewish girls / women who were seduced by Arabs still Arabs once they leave and/or are rescued by Yad L’Achim?
