Four Suicide Bombs Kill 54 in Nigeria



Four suicide bomb attacks killed at least 54 people and wounded 143 others in the Nigerian city of Maiduguri on Shabbos.

The attacks took place over the course of four hours, in a fish market, a Post Office shopping area, at Monday Market, and at a bus station. A fifth explosion from a car bomb went off at a military checkpoint 50 miles outside the city.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but it is thought to be the work of Boko Haram. Read more.
