Fox News Media announced Friday that it has canceled Lou Dobbs‘s show on Fox Business, ending the highest-rated program on the business network.

Dobbs, a loyal ally of former President Trump who promoted theories about election fraud following his loss last year, hosted the evening show for a decade.

A Fox News Media spokesperson confirmed the cancellation of “Lou Dobbs Tonight” to The Hill, saying it was part of programming changes that are “regularly” weighed.

The announcement comes a day after Dobbs was named, along with other Fox hosts and pro-Trump attorneys, in a $2.7 billion lawsuit from voting technology company Smartmatic. The complaint specifically cited a groundless claim made on Dobbs’s show that Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan strongman who died in 2013, had a hand in tampering with Smartmatic devices to manipulate the vote in last year’s U.S. presidential election.

  1. “the highest-rated program on the business network”

Yup. A network makes the most money when they have the highest ratings. Advertiser’s go where the ratings are. Simple business. Hmmm, let’s see. Mr. Dobbs has the highest ratings, so let’s placate our enemies and dump him. That will teach us a good lesson. Sure, makes a lot of sense. Cut our nose to spite our face. Real brilliance.
Liberalism NEVER works in the world of finance. Never.
Laying down for the Thought Police.

  2. The person who actually had a Chavez connection when Chavez was still alive was Rudy Giuliani, who made a lot of money both lobbying for Citgo Petroleum, 100% owned by the Venezuelan Government, and has also provided legal representation to Venezuelans connected to the Chavez/Maduro regime.

    • Care to give dates and cases? A search on the web shows that the law firm in question worked with the oil company BEFORE Giuliani joined the law firm in question, and Giuliani was never involved, and apparently Giuliani never even knew about it (the apparent total monetary involvement of the law firm was some $170,000 spread of many years – less than petty cash for a company of its size).

    • Hey Charlie,

How are things going for you at YCT in Riverdale? What are the latest progressive accomplishments coming out of YCT?

    • hey I don’t like Trump or Biden lets be honest people in politics have a ton of money from grift. none of its honest. while thats alarming they are all a bunch or kurva’s

    • The reason why I do not believe a word you are writing is because the democrats have used every tool and means to put any republican or GOP member into jail for the smallest of crimes while they walk free. If Guilliani wasn’t ever charged let alone investigated on these alleged supposed crimes then what you are saying is in my opinion 100% false.
