  1. This is actually a disturbing trend. I’m sure I’m not the only BT who has noticed this at simchas recently. FFBs have the disadvantage of not having a clue that the tunes being used at their simchas are even being lifted from pop songs going back to the 1970s. It was a shock that we recently watched a kallah solemnly walk down the aisle to the theme song from a treif movie from the 1970s. Whoever is responsible for this needs to knock it off. I didn’t become frum because I want to hear this music bring recycled! Not to mention they’re stealing, instead of putting in the hard work of composing their own arrangements. MAMISH a shanda! Keep the kedusha of our simchas intact!!
