A chassidishe woman gave birth to her ninth child today – the seventh by cesarean section – at Kaplan Medical Center in Rechovot.
Having so many successive deliveries via surgery is very rare, as the risks increase with every cesarean birth. Few Israeli women have had more than four.
Mrs. Esther Teitelbaum, the proud mother, has eight girls, including the latest, and one son. The Teitelbaum family are Kretchnifer chassidim.
According to doctors, there is no limit to the number of caesarean sections a woman can have, but the risk of some complications during pregnancy and birth is higher if one has had one or more caesarean sections before. This is because having a caesarean section produces a scar on the womb where the incision is made. The risk of complications, though, doesn’t necessarily get higher if one has had more than one caesarean section.

Wow! Baruch Hashem! Cain Yerbu!
Mazel Tov!! I have davened in Kretchinef many times. It is a very aidele kehillah.
I know a lady in Lakewood that has had nine cesareans.
I know some who had six, and I haven’t spoken to her in a few years, so I’m sure by now it’s at least seven.
MAYBE I’M MISSING SOMETHING,BUT I DONT THINK THIS IS A PROPER THING TO REPORT & DISCUSS IN A YIDDISHEH NEWS.IT,S JUST NOT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOSHE i totally agree with you.I also beleive that matzav should not post something that is against medical opinion, lest someone may take this advise for themself. It could end up being a huge sakunah for the expecting mother and unborn baby.
