Here’s one import we don’t want from Japan. Radiation spreading from Japan’s 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster is traveling east on the Pacific Ocean and could hit American shores by April.
Scientists at the American Geophysical Union reported Monday there is no sign of radiation from the plant yet, but volunteers have been dispatched to monitor 16 sites along the California, Washington, and Hawaii coasts. Read more at SF Gate.
