In a shocking development, Matzav.com has learned this afternoon that the Interior Ministry has abruptly slammed the brakes on the travel plans of many students.
In recent days, the Ministry released a program for institutions to obtain entry permits to enter Israel. Many have already applied for, and received, these permits.
Matzav.com has learned that, effective immediately, entry permits will cease to be issued to single students.
More troubling, permits already issued to single students are now voided, and if students arrive in Israel with them, they will be denied entry. Our information is that only students already airborne at this moment will be allowed to enter Israel.
Sources claim that this sudden change is due to the spike in Corona cases in recent days. Ministry officials have not confirmed that this is accurate.
Married students and their families can still receive entry permits at this time.

ALL the SINGLE students get married NOW .That will solve the Shiduchim crises. Then they can go to Israel with the new wife.
Remain calm.

Big deal! So they will learn Torah in America! What’s wrong with that??
Agree with issey- we have finally reached a solution to the “shidduch crisis” – Let the bochurim marry and then they will be able to go as a new couple!!!!
