A festive siyum will be held at the new Lakewood Cheder Hall in Lakewood on Motzoei Shabbos, March 7, to mark the completion of Maseches Brachos, the first masechta in the Daf Yomi cycle.

The gathering comes on the heels of the beautiful communal Seudas Siyum Hashas held at Fountain Ballroom last month, when thousands of Lakewooders gathered in a massive show of kavod haTorah.

The siyum will be a community-wide celebration, with hundreds of lomdei Daf Yomi in attendance. It will be a grand “welcome” for all those who have joined Daf Yomi for the new cycle and are completing their first masechta, and a forum to be mechazeik them to continue through Shas, as well as a show of tribute to veteran Daf Yomi learners.

The evening will begin with a shiur on the final daf in Brachos, followed by a lavish seudas mitzvah, accompanied by music, singing and dancing.

At the event, attendees will have a unique opportunity to learn more about the many Daf Yomi resources available to them. Booths will be set up in the hall, where those representing various shiurim, programs and other Daf Yomi related resources will interact with Daf Yomi learners and present their programs to them, explaining what they have to offer to enhance the Daf Yomi experience.

Additionally, a comprehensive Daf Yomi guide will be presented in honor of the occasion. The guide will be in the form of an attractive brochure that features Daf Yomi shiurim all around Lakewood with a brief description of each shiur.

All lomdei Daf Yomi are invited to the siyum.
