Nearly two in three Americans said in a new poll that they support nationwide protests for racial justice and widespread law enforcement reforms in the wake of George Floyd’s death while in police custody earlier this year.

The Gallup poll released Tuesday found that 65 percent of U.S. adults support the protests, and 50 percent feel very or somewhat “connected to the cause of those protesting.”

Ninety-two percent of Black Americans said they support the protests, compared to 89 percent of Asian-Americans, 70 percent of Hispanics and 59 percent of white respondents.

Support for the protests splits among political parties, with 95 percent of Democrats supporting the protests, and 65 percent of independents and 22 percent of Republicans agreeing.

  1. Democrats have no idea what just hit them.
According to Breitbart News, Evangelical pastor Franklin Graham slammed Democrats stating that they are “flirting with all-out socialism.”
“Socialism is dangerous, and we have a party and many politicians who are flirting with all-out socialism,” writes the celebrated Evangelical pastor Franklin Graham Monday
“Portland is an example of what will take place in other cities if Americans do not take a stand in defense of the nation—through the power of the vote,” Rev. Graham added.
“In looking at the chaos that has erupted in cities controlled by liberal, socialist-leaning leadership, it should not only grieve us, but it should cause great concern,” Graham continued. “If this kind of leadership wins in local, state, and national elections in November, you can expect to see more and more of this, which would eventually lead to the demise of this nation as we know it.”

  2. Support for the protests splits among political parties, with 95 percent of Democrats supporting the protests

From the Democrats I know there is a lot higher than a five opposition to the protests. And 95% supporting means some undecided so it is zero percent Democrat opposition. Sounds off

  3. No way this is real. Just look in the comments that will come after me. That will show the truth. We are the silent majority and that data is most likely (or definitely) fake
