Gathering for 45th Yahrtzeit of Harav Avrohom Kalmanowitz zt”l

This evening, a gathering for the 45^th yahrtzeit of Harav Avrohom Kalmanowitz zt”l, the rov of Tiktin, the founder and rosh hayeshiva of the Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, and a heroic and leading figure on the Va’ad Hahatzola, will take place at the Mirrer Yeshiva bais medrash, located at the corner of Avenue R and Ocean Parkway in Flatbush.  At 7:15, a shiur will be delivered by the rosh hayeshiva, Rav Avrohom Yaakov Nelkenbaum. That will be followed by divrei hisorerus from the rosh hayeshiva, Rav Osher Kalmanowitz. Maariv will follow at 8:20 p.m. Numerous talmidim and supporters are expected to gather to recognize the spirit and legacy of Rav Avrohom ben Rav Aharon Aryeh Leib zt”l, which is still vibnrant  and evident in the yeshiva today.
