German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party announced Wednesday that it passed a resolution declaring that the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement is anti-Semitic.

“Who today under the flag of the BDS movement calls to boycott Israeli goods and services speaks the same language in which people were called to not buy from Jews. That is nothing other than coarse antisemitism,” said the CDU statement, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Additionally, the CDU compared BDS activists to the Nazis, who launched boycotts against Jews during the 1930s in the run-up to the Holocaust. BDS dresses up anti-Semitism in “new clothes of the 21st century,” the party said, referring to anti-Zionism.

Meanwhile, Merkel told members of her party Tuesday that Germany should ban full-face veils or burkas “wherever legally possible,” adding that the country should not tolerate the application of Islamic sharia law over German justice. Merkel’s strong rhetoric came as she accepted her party’s nomination to serve another four-year-term as chancellor ahead of federal elections next year. Merkel has been under increasing pressure both from within her party and from right-wing populist challengers to take a harder line on issues such as the wave of migrants flowing into Germany and the threat of Islamic terrorism. 1. She definitely should serve another four years, but not as the Chancellor. Merkel should serve some serious time for actively destroying her own country, along with the rest of Europe, for inviting the invaders, and surrendering Germany to Islam without a single shot.
Banning burkas now is akin to giving hot chicken soup to a dead person, for even if it can no longer help him, it certainly won’t hurt.
Don’t get me wrong; few other countries deserve an invasion more than Germany does, and few nations have earned as much right to be put out.
