Andreas Lubitz, the Germanwings co-pilot accused of crashing a Madrid-to-Dusseldorf flight into a mountain, had practiced a controlled descent on the previous flight that day, according to a preliminary report published today.
The crash must have been carefully pre-planned in order to circumvent a crash-avoidance system and Lubitz would’ve crashed that first flight if he had the opportunity. Read more.
