2024 Republican presidential hopeful Mike Pence was caught in a heated exchange with conservative radio host Clay Travis on Wednesday after the former vice president refused to confirm if he would pardon Donald Trump, the Daily Beast reports.
In an interview on The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, Pence demurred on the question of pardons, saying that it was too early to decide. “These are serious charges,” Pence replied. “I can’t defend what’s been alleged, but the president does deserve to make his defense.”
That only prompted Travis to get pushier. “I think you’re dodging the question and frankly not stepping up on the front of leadership.”
Pence replied with a cool laugh. “I mean, look, we either believe in our judicial process in this country or we don’t. We either stand by the rule of law or we don’t.”
The comment just frustrated Travis even further. “What I’m hearing is you’re fine with Donald Trump being put inton prison, sir and that, to me, since you were his vice president, feels pretty disrespectful.” Travis was eventually cut off by his co-host.
Clay Travis is an annoying nerd & geek. I tried listening numerous times (on WOR) but just had to change the station.

A pardon can be an option indeed with Mr. Pence as POTUS, but indeed the process must go forward otherwise a mockery of our system will have the system become corrupted even further. I have no doubt that there is a double system of justice: one for democRATS and another for the Reeepublicans. But still this has to proceed.
If it’s a double standard and mockery, then no, you end it as soon as possible. And I’m someone who is looking to support the most socially conservative candidate and not Trump. There are many like us, and not supporting an immediate pardon is doing Pence no favors.
Anonymous and others, consider yourself a brainwashed and gullible sleeper if you have no clue of the horrendous atrocities committed by former US Presidents, Vice Presidents, world leaders and high-ranking elite against humanity, the worst crimes ever committed in human history! And it has nothing to do with bribery and taxes which are the media cover ups against these demons.
If you don’t have the understanding to actually take out a Tehillim and pray for President Trump you’re naive and ignorant. Yes, I, a chareidi, have been davening for Trump’s success in eradicating these monsters from the world and giving money to tzedakah on his behalf DAILY since he came to office. Hashem is my witness.
Um, “in the age,” you’re assuming it’s the presidents (often very limited in whatever they do) and not career government apparatchiks. You’re also assuming that Trump was more out of the loop than them. Save your prayers for real salvation and not for this contest between two very rotten sides. The real ultimate plan is better than anything that any country can offer and it’s our job to welcome what will happen forever anyway and get the rest of the world ready so that they can all enjoy it instead of being punished. It really is that simple.

Wake up, because this can happen to anybody like what happened to Rubashkin. Also, who in their right mind would want to vote for Pence who shows no hakaros hatov to Trump? Pence appears squeaky clean but IMO is no different than the Democrats.

One of the reasons he was dealt with already in 2017 before he had a chance to be much of a VP. We’ll soon find out who was under the Pence mask as Trump’s VP in first term.
So based on your brilliant knowledge, Pence was killed in 2017. So if that’s the case, on Jan 6th Pence was already dead so how could he of stabbed Trump in the back by not denying the election results?!
The rule of law is not something that our currently operating system provides impartially. The book gets thrown at some and not others, depending on political judgments. Goody two-shoes Pence knows this but wants Trump nailed to the wall. As we speak, intimidation is still being used to keep the best defense lawyers from working for Trump.
