Gingrich Sees Christie-Perry Showdown for 2016 GOP Bid

gingrich1Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says he is betting on a Chris Christie-Rick Perry showdown for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

“You can imagine a Perry-Christie fight,” Gingrich said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union. “That would be a very interesting choice for the Republican Party.”

As for the Democrats, it’s Hillary Clinton all the way, Gingrich said. “If she runs, she is the inevitable nominee,” he said. Read more at NEWSMAX.

  1. I read the headline above and I thought to myself: “Who is ‘Perry'”. Goes to show how relevant Mr. Perry has become in my own future based on his past running for office.

    My prediction: 2016 is between Huntsman, Christie and Rand Paul. Paul Ryan as a 4th.

  2. Rick Perry will NOT run. He was totally embarrassed last time around & he definitely wont get any support if he tries a run again.

  3. Nothing will stop Rick from running . A very successful LONG TERM TEXAS Governor. Chris Christie is almost a Dem . He doesn’t have any idea about Iran and Perry does as well as how to have a successful state. I look forward to see them debate.
