The Trump administration is reportedly considering a plan to gradually remove the COVID-19 vaccine from circulation, according to a report published by the Daily Beast.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra, described as one of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “closest associates,” told the outlet that the decision to pull the vaccine from the market could happen “within months,” though he noted it may take place “in a number of stages.” Malhotra also shared that “those closest” to Kennedy have privately said they “cannot understand” why the COVID-19 vaccine “continues to be prescribed.”
“It could [happen] in a number of stages, including learning more about the data,” Malhotra, a British cardiologist, explained. “But given the increased talk of vaccine injuries in the past few weeks among the administration, it could also come with one clean decision.”
Malhotra pointed out that growing “skepticism among Kennedy’s circle” about the COVID-19 vaccine is rooted in a 2022 peer-reviewed study, which “examined secondary analysis of ‘serious adverse events reported in … clinical trials of Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines in adults.’”
According to Malhotra, this skepticism comes from a paper published in the journal Vaccine by a team of physicians, university professors, and medical researchers. The study found that individuals who received the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA shots showed a 16 percent greater likelihood of experiencing “excess serious adverse events” compared to those who were given placebos.
Earlier this month, Breitbart News’s Alana Mastrangelo reported that Kennedy revealed plans for HHS to begin “canceling mRNA vaccine development investments and contracts.”
Kennedy explained that an HHS division called the “Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority,” or BARDA, has been overseeing some of the government’s “most advanced scientific research.” He added that BARDA “reviewed 22 mRNA vaccine development investments, and began canceling them.”

It’s so weird that the product of “Operation Warp Speed” which was one of Trump’s major policy prescriptions had such a botched roll out (with mandates instead of an education campaign) that arguably led to lower vaccination rates and is now being quietly discontinued by the new Trump admin.
