Sen. Roy Blunt (Mo.), a member of GOP leadership, warned Thursday that President Trump‘s demand for $2,000 stimulus checks can’t pass the Senate and urged him to sign a massive year-end agreement.
Blunt, acknowledging that he has “no idea” what Trump will ultimately do, said that it would be a “mistake” to try to renegotiate the bill, which ties $1.4 trillion to fund the government to $900 billion in long-sought coronavirus relief.
“It took us a long time to get to where we are. I think reopening that bill would be a mistake,” Blunt said. “The best way out of this is for the president to sign the bill, and I still hope that’s what he decides.”

It took the wise Members of Congress such a long time to add to this monstrous bill every possible giveaway of taxpayer money to their friends and clients, foreign and domestic. Who would be so unfeeling as to cut out the waste and actually help those here who need it? I’m sure Blount is OK with the great 2020 election heist, too.

Why should we continue to pay our taxes?
Basically, Trump outmaneuvered the RINO’s and the Dimrats. $2k was just a vehicle to point out the 5,000 pages(that the lawmakers weren’t given time to read, btw) of all the nonsense payments to the illegals, elitist institutions and foreign countries – all at the taxpayers’ expense. While the taxpayers residing in the socialist-fascist states are hurting due to the artificially-created economic disaster. While RINO and Dimrat politicians are getting richer with kickbacks.
Trump is a great at tactics, but unfortunately he failed at strategy. He failed to fire every high ranking bureaucrat in Washington. He constantly promoted people who turned-out to be disloyal. He didn’t take control of the federal agencies, didn’t force the system of education to promote the traditional american values, didn’t prosecute the criminal politicians, didn’t prevent the covid-socialist-fascist governors from illegally destroying the economy and the individual rights. All Trump had to do, was to actually use his presidential powers to the full extent of the constitution. Trump is a great guy, but unfortunately his strategy was off. No mater his mistakes, Trump showed how to brake the establishment’s chokehold, and Trump will remain a great hero to the freedom-loving people throughout the world.
Really, it was the GOP’s job to stop the bill by pointing out the billions of dollars going to non-Covid destinations instead of just screaming ‘too expensive’. The spineless swamp creatures don’t represent the Americans they claim they want to help when the condone sending money for Afghanistan gender studies, among other things, instead of sending money directly to the American public. Now they’re rebuking the President who called them out on that. Me thinks thou dost protest too much…
There is money for everyone besides citizens. Do you know why? They dont have a lobby to represent them.

This bill, which is inappropriately called a stimulus bill or a covid bill has nothing to do with either subject. All these months were spent putting a bill together to give billions of dollars to foreign countries, some of whom are not our friends. Other parts of the bill , like millions to the Kennedy Center, which got 24 million in the last stimulus, while a pitiful $600 to legal American citizens and three times as much to illegals. Everyone of of us should finally rise up and either recall, vote out, or demand resignations of everyone who voted for this pork filled bill. We should be incensed by this behavior. Millions to foreign countries and a measly $600 to Americans stinks like mad. These clowns have no shame since instead of just passing a bill helping Americans, they continue to try to pass the same piece of trash bill. Wake up America, these uncaring elitists have to be held accountable for their actions.
this was a spesning bill not a stimulus the stimulus was tacked on. why do people misrepresent this fact?
