Republicans have carved out a potential path to holding the Senate next week, a route that runs through Minnesota and Michigan.
Democrats have a strong chance of erasing their 53 to 47 seat minority and taking control of the chamber. According to The Hill, the party thinks that if it can pick up a seat in Michigan with John James and in Minnesota with Jason Lewis, it would retain its majority.
