The widows of three yungeleit will soon receive a monthly government stipend of $540 monthly for 15 years.
Deputy Minister Yitzchok Cohen of Shas fought for a decade to implement the government-sponsored insurance policy, and it was voted into law a year ago.
Cohen called upon all yungeleit to join the 35,000 people who have already registered for the inexpensive plan.
