Governor Cuomo Announces Monument To Be Built Honoring 9/11 First Responders And Survivors


On Sunday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that a monument honoring first responders who took action on 9/11, will be built in New York City, NEWS10 reports.

Gov. Cuomo will issue a Request for Proposals to select the design and location of the monument.

The monument will not only honor the heroes who lost their lives, but it will honor the survivors who continue to suffer from health issues from the aftermath of the attack.
