Greenwald: There’s Even More to Come

Glenn Greenwald, the Guardian journalist who broke the story of the NSA’s widespread spying program, said there are “significant revelations” still to come from the documents leaked to him by Edward Snowden, a former CIA employee who worked for independent contractor Booz Allen Hamilton.

“There are dozens of stories from the documents he provided, and we intend to pursue every one of them,” Greenwald said.

Although Snowden sought to leak to the information to Greenwald since he is one of the leading critics of the Patriot Act and other surveillance programs, The Washington Post’s Barton Gellman said Snowden had contacted him as well regarding the leaked information, but the paper said it could not make any guarantees to publish and it wanted the government’s opinion on whether the information would be harmful to national security. Read more at CBS News.
