The Palestinian terror group Hamas called for additional terror attacks in Yerushalayim , and against Israelis living in Shomron, as the Har Habayis gradually reopened Sunday afternoon with bolstered security.

In a terror attack near the flashpoint holy site Friday, three Arab terrorists killed two Israeli Druze police officers. In the wake of the attack, the Har Habayis had been closed for first time since 1969, in a move that Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum described Saturday as tantamount to a “religious war” that “should be fought at any price.”

“This evening, I held a discussion with the top security leadership and I instructed that metal detectors be placed at the entrance gates to the Temple Mount,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday. “We will also install security cameras on poles outside the Temple Mount, which give almost complete control over what goes on there.”
