Amid the recent Israeli operation targeting Hamas leaders in Qatar and the growing momentum of IDF maneuvers in Gaza, the terror organization is indicating it may be willing to reenter discussions over a possible hostage agreement.

According to a report by Kan 11 News, Hamas is likely to present tougher demands in any renewed negotiations, a move that could further complicate attempts to secure a deal.

Palestinian Arab sources who are close to the talks stated, “The old style of negotiations that took place before the Doha attack is over. We are ready to discuss proposals to end the war, but in a different way than before.”

Analysts say that following the strike against senior Hamas operatives on Qatari soil, it is doubtful that Qatar will continue to serve as mediator between the sides.

  1. It would be shocking if Israel would go for their “hostage talks” when their goal is never to give up the hostages because they’re well aware that if they do, Israel will wipe them off the face off the earth a moment later.
