Hamas Threatens Israel After Jews Ascend the Har Habayis

The official Wafa news agency of the Palestinian Authority reported that a large number of individuals described as “settlers” had “invaded” the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, accompanied by Israeli police forces.

According to the report, these Jewish visitors arrived in groups and proceeded to conduct tours of the Har Habayis, engaging in what was described as “provocative” activities and religious worship ceremonies.

Muhammad Hamada, the spokesperson for Hamas in Yerushalayim, expressed concern over what he deemed to be the continuous desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by these groups of settlers. He accused Israeli authorities of facilitating and protecting these “invasions,” emphasizing their responsibility for this violation of the mosque’s sanctity.

In response, Hamada issued a warning to Israel, stating that the armed resistance, symbolized by the “sword of Jerusalem,” would remain active. He called upon the youth in Yerushalayim, the West Bank, and among the Palestinian Arab population to pledge their commitment to swiftly respond to any acts of aggression.

Furthermore, Hamada urged the Palestinian Arab community to enhance the Muslim presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, aiming to prevent Israel from imposing decisions concerning the mosque’s affairs.
