Har Nof Terrorists Were Cousins, Hamas Calls Attack “Revenge” for Killing of Bus Driver

har-nof-attack1Yerushalayim is in mourning after the terror attack this morning at a shul in Har Nof, Yerushalayim.  

Police said that the two attackers who murdered five people were both killed by police.

Israel Police said there were six injured, including two policemen.

One of the mispalleim said that the two terrorists shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack and entered the shul without their faces covered.

Both attackers were from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber, Channel 2 reported.

According to Israel Radio’s Gal Berger, Palestinian sources said the attackers were cousins, named Said Abu Jamal and Uday Warsan. He also reported that Hamas officials in Gaza and Qatar said the attack was “revenge for the killing of Arab bus driver in Jerusalem.”

One of the terrorists worked in a corner store near the shul, Channel 2 reported.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon called an emergency meeting in the wake of the attack.

Public Security Minister Yitzchak Aharonovitch and Israel Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino arrived at the scene, and were heckled by bystanders, who yelled, “Go home!”

  1. As of yet neither Secretary of State Kerry. the UN.or any nation on the planet has issued any statement.

    Seventy years after the Holocaust the sentiment of killing Jews under false pretenses is alive and kicking(killing).
